Salman Khan's upcoming movie 'Tubelight' created a buzz in the tinselvile after superstar Shah Rukh Khan was roped in for a cameo in the movie. While the news made the audience ecstatic about Karan-Arjun's onscreen reunion after a long hiatus, director Kabir Khan has admitted that their was a special reason for signing SRK for 'Tubelight'.
According to the media reports, the 'Tubelight' director asserted that he signed Shah Rukh for the cameo as his role in the movie needed a superstar. He even lauded King Khan for being kind enough to agree for the movie.
"It was a role screaming for a superstar cameo otherwise I wouldn't have. I find it gimmicky. But when you will watch the film, you will realise the role needed a superstar. We went to him with the role and he was kind enough to agree. It is a brilliant cameo but I can't say much about it because it will take away the joy of seeing it," Kabir Khan had told a leading daily.
