With the title of the last Don franchise release last week which is to go on floors this year, it looks like Shah Rukh Khan will be more focused on the thriller success, Don than on the Rakesh Sharma biopic. Earlier reports have it that King Khan will be shooting Don only after Saare Jahan Se Achha. However, with his bomb at the box office for his last movie, Zero, gossips now have it that King Khan is reconsidering the biopic movie, stating that he wanted to be extra careful with his pick of movies.
As much as fans would want to see our very own romance king in the Rakesh Sharma biopic, reports claim that the filmmaker already has their pick as their astronaut. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, the makers of Rakesh Sharma biopic have approached Vicky Kaushal as SRK’s replacement.

These reports, however, have neither been confirmed nor refuted. A few days ago, writer of Saare Jahaan Se Achcha, Anjum Rajabali, had also brushed aside all claims of SRK stepping down in the biopic movie stating that SRK is still very much a part of the film.
However, given that fact that the makers of the movie have a change of choice in the titular role of the biopic movie which was Aamir Khan foremostly, the possibility of Vicky Kaushal as SRK’s replacement seems a possibility.
