Singer-composer Vishal Dadlani, who was living separately from his wife Priyali for a couple of years now, has announced his divorce.
Talking about his separation, Vishal said that the decision to file the divorce is amicable and he would appreciate privacy during this time.
"After several years of living separately, Priyali and I are officially filing for divorce. This is the only statement either of us wishes to make, as this is a private and personal matter, and we hope it will be respected as such. Over our time apart, we have become perhaps greater friends than we have ever been before. Both our families are extremely close, to us and to each other, and of course, this will remain so. Our private lives have always been extremely personal to us, so we humbly ask for dignity and privacy in this regard," Vishal told an entertainment portal.
Interestingly, Dadlani is not the only celeb whose marriage has hit a rocky patch lately.
Nandita Das too had called off her seven years marriage with Subodh Maskara early this month.
Besides, celeb coupled like Farhan Akhtar-Adhuna Bhabhani, Malaika Arora-Arbaaz Khan, Katrina Kaif- Ranbir Kapoor, etc were seen dealing with break-ups last year.
