Vikram Bhatt is all set to hit the silver screen with his new ultra-scary, spine-chilling offering, 1921. A decade after 1920, Bhatt is back with another motion picture which will have a strong romantic and emotional premise between the lead pair. 1920 released in 2008 and 1921 will be releasing exactly 10 years later. However, 1921 is not a franchise of 1920.
Bhatt is known for his horror-centric movies and has worked on the 'Raaz' series, 'Haunted' 3D and '1920', among others. Actress Zarine Khan is headlining the film’s cast with actor Karan Kundrra. The film revolves around the lead cast dealing with their dark pasts and secrets to secure their present and future. It is about the struggle between life and death and is based entirely in Britain.
The trailer of the movie has received a tremendous response and has crossed over 10 million views in a matter of a week and the numbers have been increasing by the day. Very few horror movies have received much love and gratitude from fans. With its unique storyline and periodic setting, the film has already created anticipation among the horror film fans in the country.
According to the makers, the film is based in the year 1921 and deals with Ayush and Rose’s battle with extreme paranormal activities created by a ruthless and cursed spirit that would lead them to their ultimate redemption or downfall.
1921 is all set for release on January 12, 2018.
