Shah Rukh Khan fever might have subsided for some time now, but the actor has reigned Bollywood for the logest period of time with a fan base any celebrity woould die to have. June 25th marks 27 years of the K..K..Kiran actor's entry into Bollywood with Deewana. As the actor completes yet another milestone, fans went on to trend #27YearsOfSRK with some of the kindest things to say about him!
Shah Rukh’s journey from a commoner to a superstar has been quite fascinating, as he landed in the show-biz industry without the help of any godfathers. The Raees actor, in his many miraculous speeches, hinted that whatever he is today, it is the struggle that he wore as an honoured badge. Attached with the many honoury badges, the man is a living dream for many.
Shah Rukh after having a brief stint on television withFauji and Dil Dariya got his first offer for Hema Malini's directorial debut Dil Aashna Hai and by June, he had started his first shoot. His film debut however happened with Deewana, which was released in June 1992 In it he starred alongside Divya Bharti as the second male lead behind Rishi Kapoor.Â
Deewana became a box office hit and launched Khan's Bollywood career for which he went on to bag his first Filmfare Best Award.
Also released in 1992 were Khan's first films as the male lead, Chamatkar, Dil Aashna Hai, and the comedy Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, which was his first of many collaborations with the actress Juhi Chawla.
