Bollywood actors Amitabh Bachchan and Kanagana Ranaut bagged best actors awards for Piku and Tanu Weds Manu Returns respectively. Director Ramesh Sippy and Satish Kaushik on Monday handed over the list of names for the 63rd National Film Awards to the Information and Broadcasting minister Arun Jaitley. Ramesh Sippy sat with 10 other juries from Bollywood town to finalise the names for the prestigious National Film Awards, which were started as an annual incentive by the Government of India.
From a mix packet of several regional movies, Bollywood managed to garner a major chunk in the categories. This includes Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh-starrer 'Bajirao Mastani', Kangna Ranaut's 'Tanu Weds Manu 2', 'Piku' starring Amitabh Bachchan and Anushka Sharma's 'NH 10', Salman Khan's 'Bajrangi Bhaijaan' and Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Dum Laga Ke Haisha'.
