Ranveer Singh-starrer Simmba has been making rounds since its inception. The Rohit Shetty directorial also stars Bollywood’s newbie Sara Ali Khan. Ranveer makes a grand entry on a police jeep, surrounded by more police vehicles and bikes in the Simmba title track. Women can be seen riding bikes wearing glimmering Maharashtrian style sarees, turbans, aviators, and pair it with sports shoes as they wave saffron flags. But, icing the cake and what will bring a smile to audiences’ face, adding more light to their day is the gleaming Ranveer with his power-packed dancing moves. Ranveer dances his way like its an only emotion.
Singers Dev Negi and Goldi have voiced the entertainment blockbuster. Composed by Tanishk Bagchi and penned by Shabbir Ahmed, the song is high-on-energy with Ranveer’s dancing. The song is shot in the backdrop of Shaniwar Vada set, which also reminds us of his film Bajirao Mastani.
Simmba will be Ranveer’s first venture with Rohit Shetty, while his newlywed wife Deepika was earlier seen in the director’s Chennai Express, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan.
Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Pictures, Simmba features Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on December 28.
