The year of the 1900s saw the upspring of many romantic classics like Dil, Mann, DDLJ, Kuch Kuch Hota Hain among many others. While the era of the ’90s will go down in Bollywood history as the year of romantic films, we also have to give it to the actors and their powerful chemistry onscreen who made the movies ‘romantic’ as were intended. One such powerful pairing of romantic movies is without a doubt, Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit in Dil. Hence, for movie viewers, particularly of the 1990s and those after, news of a classic’s sequel is always a warm welcome.
Filmmaker, Indra Kumar, who is all prepped up for his next release, Total Dhamaal has more surprises for his fans. According to a report, Kumar will be remaking the 1990 hit film, Dil which features Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit Nene. The reports also claim that the sequel will bear the same name as the original. They also added that the filmmaker has finalised the script of the film, but is he’s still looking out for actors to play the lead. Talking about the sequel, the filmmaker was quoted saying, “I had been planning to make the sequel to Aamir Khan and Madhuri Dixit starrer Dil for some time now. We have cracked a script and called it Dil Again.”

Indra Kumar’s Total Dhamaal meanwhile is scheduled to release this February 22 release. The comedy-drama will see Ajay Devgn, Madhuri Dixit, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey and Riteish Deshmukh among others.
