Actor Aamir Khan attends wrestler Geeta Phogat’s wedding with fellow wrestler Pawan Kumar at Bhiwani.

Geeta Phogat is Mahaveer Phogat’s eldest daughter and international wrestling champion. Geeta is the first Indian woman wrestler to qualify for the Olympics. She is the first Indian woman wrestler to win gold at the Commonwealth Games. 

According to sources, it was informed that Aamir wants to gift Geeta wedding dress. But the actor told,  “I was about to bring one for her but I later got to know that her mama (maternal uncle) is supposed to get it. But my film Dangal is my gift to her and I wish her all the best in life.”

In Aamir’s upcoming movie Dangal, he is playing wrestler Mahavir Phogat. Dangal will hit screens on December 23, 2016.
