Dangal (wrestling competition or Kusti) is an upcoming Indian biographical sports drama film directed by Nitesh Tiwari. Amir Khan will be seen portraying the role of Mahavir Singh Phogat who taught wrestling to his daughters Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat.
Geeta Phogat was India's first female wrestler to win at the 2010 Commonwealth Games, where she won the gold medal (55 kg) while her sister Babita Kumari won the silver (51 kg).
Bollywood’s upcoming Aamir Khan film Dangal poster has been revealed. The new poster mostly looks like a family photo but it still holds the attention. Actor also tweeted the movie slogan "Mhaari chhoriyaan chhoron se kum hain ke?"

The shooting schedule of Dangal commenced on 1 September 2015. The movie is set to hit the screens on 23 December 2016.
