Actor turned security guard Savi Sidhu bags role in Mika Singh's Aadat

Savi Sidhu is a popular name now, courtesy, his heart wrechning story of turning to a security guard from an actor who worked with big names. But now there are reasons enough to cheer.

His story has caught the eye of people in the industry who cares and they have lent a helping hand to the actor.  Mika Singh has offered him a part in his upcoming production, Bhushan Patel's Aadat, which stars Karan Singh Grover and Bipasha Basu in the lead roles. Not just this, the singer also told him to stop working as a security guard and join his team instead.

Savi's friends informed him that Mika was trying to get in touch with him. After a few days, he received a call from him, and intially thought thought it was a prank. But Mika was direct. He asked him to leave his job and join his team. The next day, he sent a car to take Savi to his house. He start working with him in the next 10 days.

Mika said that when he heard Savi's story, he made his mind up to help him in whatever way he could. I found it odd that a talented actor who has worked in big films and with big directors had to take up the job of a watchman for Rs 9000 a month. Being a Punjabi and from the same fraternity as him, I wanted to help. It was surprising that no one was offering him work, even a small role would surely be better than a watchman’s job, he said.

The actor, has worked in films like Black Friday, Patiala House and Bewakoofiyaan, revealed in a now-viral interview with an entertainment website that he was not getting any offers and was forced to work as a security guard to make ends meet.
