Aditya Roy Kapur opens up on his rumoured affair with Shraddha Kapoor, says 'We both know the truth'

Bollywood actor Aditya Roy Kapur has rubbished the reports of him dating Shraddha Kapoor and stated that he is unaffected by the rumours and  they both know the truth pretty well.

The reports of their link-up got rife when Aditya made his big Bollywood debut with Shraddha in 2013 release 'Aashiqui 2'.

However, the 'Fitoor' actor has put all the speculations to rest and said, 'As far as rumors about us (Shraddha and me) are concerned, we know each other and between the two of us we know the truth. We don't bring it now, earlier we used to talk about it. You can't let it affect you so much."

Interestingly, not just Shraddha Kapoor, Aditya was linked up with Katrina Kaif, with whom he shared that screen space in 2016 release 'Fitoor'.

Clearing the air about the same, Aditya asserted that he has become thick skinned to all these rumours.

"Now I have been in the industry for quite sometime, I feel these things (referring to link ups) will be written about you all the time. I am thick-skinned to these things. Most things I don't read and whatever I read doesn't really affect me," Aditya said.

The 31-year-old 'Dawaat-E-Ishq' actor thinks link-ups are part and parcel of the film industry. "It comes with the territory. I think most of the actors face this. They (actors) are linked with every co-star they work with." 

He further added, saying "I don't want to waste my time trying to control these things as my life will become a vicious circle," he said. Aditya, however, says that initially when he was linked to Shraddha, it used to bother him. "As far as rumors about us (Shraddha and me) are concerned, we know each other and between the two of us we know the truth. We don't bring it now, earlier we used to talk about it. You can't let it affect you so much."

On the work front, Aditya Roy Kapur is gearing up for the release his upcoming movie 'Ok Jaanu' with Shraddha Kapoor.

Helmed by Shaad Ali, 'Ok Jaanu' is slated to release on January 13.
