After Rajkummar Rao's Made In China, Housefull 4 starring Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Sanon, Bobby Deol, Kriti Kharbanda and Pooja Hegde in pivotal roles has been leaked online by the infamous Tamilrockers. Tamil sports -action film Bigil, starring Vijay has also been made available online to download.
Earlier, films like Kabir Singh, Gully Boy, 2.0, Petta, Uri: The Surgical Strike, Manikarnika, Accidental Prime Minister and more also became the victim of piracy. This piracy website has been banned innumerable times. But, every time a new movie is leaked online, they come out with a different proxy server.
Along with Housefull 4, Made In China and Saandh Ki Aankh also released yesterday. Akshay Kumar starrer Housefull 4 opened with Rs 19.08 crore, which is the second biggest comedy debut of all time after Rohit Shetty's Golmaal Again. That film had opened to Rs 30 crore around the same Diwali window in 2017. Made In China collected around 1 crore on opening day, while Saand Ki Aankh starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar managed to cross the 50 lakh mark.
Directed by Farhad Samji, Housefull 4 boasts of an ensemble star cast that includes, Akshay Kumar, Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde in the lead roles.
Talking about the film, Akshay Kumar told an entertainment portal, ''It’s a novel concept and extremely enjoyable. As an actor, it gave me a chance to play two extremely distinct characters, who are different in appearance, thought and behaviour. And this time, we’re releasing on Diwali, a time when everyone is seeking happiness and a good time at the movies.''
