Ajay Devgn has rubbished the reports of any tiff with renowned comedian Kapil Sharma and said that the two continue to be friends. It was reported that the 'Shivaay' actor was miffed with Sharma after the latter had cancelled the shoot for 'Baadshaho' promotions at the last minute leaving the the team furious.
The media reports suggested that Ajay was miffed with the incident. Clearing the air about the same, “Shows have been cancelled quite a number of times. I really don’t know what happened exactly. But reports said that we left the sets in anger. We did not leave in anger. We left as he had not reached the sets till then. He’s a friend. When I’ll talk to him next, we’ll get to know what was wrong. Kapil must have had some problem. But I really don’t know. So, if there is anger or not, I can’t really answer your question.”
Notably, this isn't the first time Kapil Sharma has cancelled the show. Apparently, there were reports that the B-town celebs are so annoyed and were said to be boycotting the Kapil Sharma's show. However, Devgn dismissed the claim and said “There is nothing like what you are making it out to be. Nobody has boycotted going to his (Kapil’s) show. Shah Rukh has not issued any statement. There is nothing like that. We are colleagues. All of us want to do a better job. There’s good faith whenever we meet,” he said.
Currently, Ajay Devgn is busy promoting 'Baadshaho' which is a Milan Luthria-directed film. Also starring Emraan Hashmi, Ileana D'Cruz, Esha Gupta in the key roles, the movie is slated to release on September 1.
