Ajay Devgn's father Veeru Devgn, who was an action choreographer, passed away today in Mumbai. He has choreographed fight and action sequences for over 80 films. He also donned the hat of a director for the film - Hindustan Ki Kasam (1999). On Monday morning, he complained of breathlessness and was rushed to Surya hospital, Santacruz where he succumbed to cardiac arrest.Â
Colleague and fellow action director, Sham Kaushal mourned and tweeted about Devgan's demise.Â
He wrote, ''RIP Veeru Devgan ji. ðŸ™ðŸ»ðŸ™ðŸ»Just came to know about this sad news. As an Action Director always ahead of his times & as human being par excellence. I became a stuntman with his blessings on 8th August, 1980 as he signed my application to become a stuntman & made me part of his team.''
