Akshay Kumar's Mission Mangal remains unstoppable at the box-office. The film has earned Rs 178.11 crore within two weeks of its release. Sharing the film's box-office report so far, Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted, "Mission Mangalinches closer to lifetime biz of 2.0 and emerge Akshay Kumar's highest grossing film (Week 2) Fri 7.83 cr, Sat 13.32 cr, Sun 15.30 cr, Mon 3.87 cr, Tue 3.43 cr, Wed 3.15 cr, Thu 3.05 cr. In a separate tweet, Taran Adarsh shared the per-week box office report collection of the film. The film garnered Rs. 128.16 crore within the first week of the release and Rs. 49.95 crore within the second week. In his tweet, Taran Adarsh described the film as a "super-hit."

The film which hit the screens on 15th August 2019, also stars Vidya Balan, Sonakshi Sinha, Taapsee Pannu, Kirti Kulhari, Sharman Joshi and Nithya Menen. The plot of the film revolves around India’s Mars Orbiter Mission, mainly led by a team of women scientists.
If Mission Mangal is casting its spell at the ticket windows, Batla House is also not far behind. Going by the early estimates, John Abraham's Batla House has touched the Rs 90-crore mark in 15 days of its release. It is likely to cross the ‘esteemed’ Rs 100-crore club by the weekend. Batla House collected Rs 14.59 crore on the opening day.
The film is based on Delhi’s Batla House encounter of the 19th September 2018, leading up to the encounter of two alleged Indian Mujahideen terrorists. The movie starred Mrunal Thakur in the female lead, with Ravi Kishan, Rajesh Sharma and others in supporting roles.
