Akshay Kumar shares a strong 'direct dil se' message for youngsters

Akshay Kumar, who is known to be quite vocal about social issues, has come up with a strong and influential message for the youngsters emphasising the value life and not to loose hope at any point in life. His statement came after the recent suicide cases where in several students chose to end their lives due to exam stress. Akshay's statement came hours before he was to be felicitated by the prestigious 64th National Film Awards ceremony.

The 'Rustom' actor took it micro-blogging site Twitter and shared an instance from his childhood explaining how he failed his in one of his exams and how his father became his source of encouragement to follow his passion. He does expressed his excitement to win his first National Award and asserted that this wouldn't have been possible without his father's support.

“I was worried that my parents would be extremely upset and angry with me because I had flunked a paper. When I showed my report card to my parents, my father asked me what I wanted to do in life. I said I want to do sports. So, he said I can do sports and they will support me but have to continue studies too. I never knew that after sports, I would be drawn to martial arts, then modelling and acting happened. If that day my parents would not have made me understand my strengths, I would not have won this National Award nor I would have understood the reason I have it," Akshay said in the video.

The actor captioned the image as, "Like there's no lock made without a key,no problem comes without solutions. Watch & do think,sharing with u'll some thoughts, #DirectDilSe"

Indeed, this video of Akshay is winning all the hearts.

Interestingly, this is not the first time, Akki has come up with such motivation video. Earlier, he had taken initiative on women empowerment and urged ladies to opt for self-defence classes. He is also seen actively participating in PM Modi's Swachch Bharat Abhiyaan.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar is busy with her upcoming movie 'Toilet: Ek Prem Katha' opposite Bhumi Pednekar. Besides, he is also busy with wife Twinkle Khanna's 'Padman' also starring Radhika Apte.
