Akshay Kumar is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie, Mission Mangal and already has a slew of interesting movies in his kitty. Now reports suggest based on the life of Indian warrior and Rajput king Prithviraj Chauhan that will star Akshay Kumar in lead role will go on the floors this year.
Sources suggest that the movie is in the pre-production stage and the makers are making sure to match the deadline of November. according to a report published in Dainik Bhaskar, the first schedule of the movie will be shoot in and the next one in Rajasthan where the story is set.
The report suggested that the makers want Sanjay Dutt to play the role of Muhammad Ghori in the film. Story of the movie will be set in the backdrop of the First Battle Of Tarain led by Prithviraj Chauhan.
Apart from the main battle, the movie’s sub-plot will focus on multiple other things. It would deal with the strategic mistake made by Prithviraj Chauhan at the battlefield and how caste discrimination played much role in thta era. It’ll also highlight the discrimination happening in the backward class of soldiers in the army.
Pinkvilla earlier reported that Miss World 2017 Manushi Chhillar will make her much awaited Bollywood debut with the film as the lead female character and she is undergoing all the necessary training for her part. it was also reported that Chandraprakash Dwivedi is directing the historical drama and YRF is producing it.
Akshay will finish the shoot of Laaxmi Bomb and start prepping for the biopic. Akshay Kumar has various movies in his bag including Mission Mangal, Housefull 4, Good News and Laaxmi Bomb among others. Recently Akshay giving his nof for a movie based on National security Adviser Ajit Doval in collaboration with filmmaker Neeraj Pandey was also in the news but an official confirmation is yet to come.
