Brahmastra trio Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukerji were spotted heading to producer Karan Johar’s house on Saturday. Alia looked beautiful in a white and yellow top, while Ranbir looked dapper in a light blue T-shirt and a cap. Both were sitting in the back seat of their car, while Ayan was sitting shotgun.Â
Only a few hours before, Alia was spotted at the Mumbai airport, returning from promotions of Kalank in New Delhi. Alia in a recent interview to Mid-Day said that she shot both films simultaneously, which was very difficult. ''I was shooting Brahmastra and Kalank simultaneously, some days were just impossible to get by,†she said. ''It’s not easy to live up to (director Abhishek Varman’s) vision.''

Alia and Ranbir have been often spotted hanging out together. However, they prefer keeping their relationship a private matter. “It’s not as if a relationship is an achievement. It is just a part – and a very important part – of my life. It’s seamless as well as beautiful, and should be celebrated when it has to be. Right now, it should just be left on its own and kind of kept in a corner where it can stay safe and warm,’’ she had earlier said.Â
Meanwhile, Kalank is slated to release on 17 April. It is a period drama set in the 1940's and the film has an ensemble cast of Madhuri Dixit, Sanjay Dutt, Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. On the other hand, Brahmastra has been slated for a December release.Â
Alia is also set to make her debut in Telugu cinema with SS Rajamouli's RRR. She will be also seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Inshallah, opposite Salman Khan. Ranbir has gangster drama Shamshera in the pipeline.
