A few days back, a wedding invitation went viral which claimed that Bollywood celebrities, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are tying the knot on 22 January 2020. The wedding invitation reads, "Mrs. Neetu & Mr. Rishi Kapoor cordially invite you for the Sagan Ceremony of their son Ranbir with Aliya (D/o Mrs. Soni & Mr. Mukesh Bhatt on wednessday, 22th January, 2020 5:00 pm onwards."
Since then, Alia is being bombarded with questions about her wedding. On Thursday, as she was returning from her London vacation with boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor, the same question was posed by the paparazzi. The actress tried her best to avoid their questions but finally said, “Udti udti khabar hai, udti hi rahegi (The rumours are flying and they will keep flying).’’
Recently, Alia Bhatt's mother and actress Soni Razdan responded to the issue of the fake wedding card. She said, “It’s a non-issue. Please, don’t give these miscreants more publicity than they deserve.”
Earlier, a wedding invitation to her ‘sagan‘ ceremony with Ranbir had gone viral on social media. However, Alia Bhatt's name on the invitation was spelt wrong. It said 'Aliya' instead of 'Alia'. Also, her father's name on the invitation was wrong. The invitation said 'Mukesh Bhatt' instead of 'Mahesh Bhatt'. The date of the
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor love affair reportedly started while they were shooting for their forthcoming film Brahmastra. Talking about her relationship with Ranbir, Alia had said, "It’s beautiful. I’m walking on stars and clouds right now. The best part is that we’re two individuals who are living our own professional lives in its full form right now. He’s shooting continuously. So am I. It’s not a situation where you’ll see us constantly together. That’s the true mark of a comfortable relationship. Nazar na lage."
Meanwhile, Brahmastra will also feature Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni and Mouni Roy, and is set to hit the screens during summer 2020.
