Alia Bhatt is all set to work with ace filmmaker Meghna Gulzar in her upcoming directorial 'Raazi', which will hit the screens in May 2018. According to the media reports, 'Raazi' will hit the screens on May 11 next year.
Karan Johar, who is producing the movie, took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to announce the release date of 'Raazi'. He wrote, "Exciting date announcement! #Raazi releasing 11th May, 2018... @aliaa08 @vickykaushal09 @DharmaMovies @JungleePictures @meghnagulzar."
Reportedly, 'Raazi' will see Alia's character married to a Pakistani army officer, which will be played by Vicky Kaushal. This is first time the two actors will be sharing the screen space.
The movie is produced by Junglee Pictures and Dharma Productions and is based on Harinder Sikka's novel, "Calling Sehmat", a thrilling saga of a spy who gave all of herself and that of her family in the service of her nation, so that all may live in peace.
According to the sources close to the production unit, the shooting of the film started on July 25. The movie will be majorly shot in Kashmir, Punjab and Mumbai.
