Alia Bhatt's recent release Raazi has got the tinselville buzzing for its unusual storyline. The movie, which is based on an Indian spy married to a Pakistani officer, has opened to rave reviews from audience and critics.
Indeed, the Raazi team is overwhelmed with the audience response. However, the best response for Raazi came from Alia Bhatt's father Mahesh Bhatt.
Mahesh, who is proud of his daughter's performance in the movie, took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share his views about Raazi and lauded daughter Alia and director Meghna Gulzar.
He wrote, "A deadly duo ! #raazi is simply brilliant."

Not just Mahesh, the entire B-town has been lauding Alia Bhatt and her movie and she has been touted to be a gifted actress.
Interestingly, Raazi has opened to decent openings at the box office on its first day with a collection of Rs 7.53 crores.
It will be interesting to see how Raazi will fare at the box office in its opening weekend.
Apart from Alia Bhatt, Raazi also stars Soni Razdan, Vicky Kaushal, Rajit Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat. The movie is based on Harinder Sikka's novel Calling Sehmat.
