Alia Bhatt, who is celebrating her 25th birthday, has been creating a lot of buzz for her personal life lately. There have been reports that the young actress is dating Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor with whom she will be sharing the screen space in Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
And while with each passing day the rumours of their romantic affair continue to go rife, Alia Bhatt chose to clear the air.
As per a report published in Pinkvilla, Alia said, “Even I get really confused when I read such things, but I strongly believe that ‘silence is golden’. It’s not as if I’m never going to have a personal life. I will and I do have one, but I feel it’s called ‘personal’ for a reason. That’s why it will always stay close to me. I am fine; people can say whatever, as I don’t get bothered by such stories. May be except when you feel something really random has been written. I just hope people don’t think that this is all I am doing in life.”
Interestingly, there have been reports that Alia will be celebrating her 25th birthday with Ranbir in Bulgaria and that the Barfi actor is having special plans for the diva's birthday.
In fact, it was also reported that Alia is seen spending quality time with RK post her break up with Sidharth Malhotra.
Well, given Alia's statement on her dating rumours, looks like the birthday girl is in no mood to get into a relationship and wants to focus on her career.
On a related note, Alia, who was last seen in Badrinath Ki Dulhania opposite Varun Dhawan, will be next seen in Meghna Gulzar's Raazi.
Also starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead, the movie is said to be an adaptation of Harinder Sikka’s novel Calling Sehmat, which revolves around a Kashmiri spy who gets married to a Pakistani man. Raazi is slated to hit the screens on May 11 this year.
