The second instalment of Student of the Year that marks the Bollywood entry of Ananya Pandey and Tara Sutaria will see a release in May 2019 and now the buzz is that ex-students will seem to groove with the current batch.
Reports have it that Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan and Siddharth Malhotra who too entered Bollywood with the first instalment of the Karan Johar movie will join Tiger Shroff and rest of the cast for a cameo or a song and dance sequence.
Mumbai Mirror reported that Farah Khan will be choreographing the song which only features Alia and the film’s team is figuring out ways to incorporate her co-stars from the first film, Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra, in the sequel.Â
Both the actors are expected to shoot their portions in the coming weeks too. Alia who is at Switzerland with beau Ranbir Kapoor for the Ambani's pre-wedding bash will shoot a song with Tiger over one week on a grand set that is being put up at a suburban studio.
The film like the first instalment will be a college romance and fans are eagerly waiting for it. Watching Tiger and Alia shaking a leg together and Varun and Siddharth coming over will be a reunion in true terms. The film is directed by Punit Malhotra and produced by Karan Johar.
