Every Sunday, Amitabh Bachchan greets a sea of fans who gather outside his house to catch a glimpse of the megastar. But this time, the 77-year-old actor couldn’t meet and greet his fans as he is still recovering and resting. Big B took to social media on Monday to apologise to his fans as he couldn't meet them. He wrote, ''T 3524 - I convalesce .. but they still come for the Sunday meet .. my apologies .. could not come out.''
He shared pictures that show a large crowd of fans outside his house in Mumbai, who arrive every Sunday to see their favourite star.

Last week, Amitabh Bachchan was hospitalised at the Nanavati Hospital in Mumbai and was released quickly afterwards. While some reports suggested that it was a routine check-up, there were various rumours that suggested a fast-deteriorating liver condition led to him being admitted.
Soon Big B took to his blog to clear the air on his health condition. The Paa actor urged people to respect other's privacy and not commercialise someone's health conditions.
"Do NOT break the CODE of professional documentation .. ailments and medical conditions are a confidential individual right .. its exploitation, and its attempted commerce are a social illegality .. respect and give required understanding to this .. all is not in the world of sale .. My love .. and my gratitude for all .. for all that consider care , that consider concern and consider prayer for me, (sic)" he wrote.
On the work front, Amitabh is currently busy with multiple projects, including the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor has already wrapped shooting for Ayan’s upcoming film, Brahmastra. It stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles, besides Mouni Roy. The film will hit screens next year.
