The Shahenshah of Bollywood Amitabh Bachchan is much famous for his chivalrous and sophisticated demeanor but recently he came under fire for uploading an ‘all-male’ picture to mark the one-year anniversary of ‘Pink.’

It was none other than his Pink co-star Taapsee Pannu who came to his rescue who said that the megastar did not exclude the women intentionally.

Big B had uploaded an all-male crew picture on social media to mark the one year of Pink which did not go down well with many as they pointed out the irony Pink being a women-centric film.

"I 100 per cent know he probably wouldn't have done it intentionally. It's not possible that he deliberately chose a picture in which we weren't there. In fact in all the award functions, after receiving the award he used to always mention 'I want to thank the three girls for this film'," Taapsee said in an interview.

"I don't think it was intentional at all. It might have been that it skipped (his mind) or he didn't realise or something. I don't think it was intentional from his side to exclude girls," she added.

Pink featured Amitabh Bachchan as a lawyer defending three girls, played by Taapsee, Kriti Kulhari, and Andrea Tariang. The movie also bagged the National Award for Best Film on Social Issues.

After the success of Pink, Taapsee was seen in movies like Running Shaadi, The Ghazi Attacks, and Naam Shabana.

Currently, she is waiting for the release of Judwaa 2 which stars Varun Dhawan and Jacqueline Fernandez.
