Amitabh Bachchan discharged from hospital; pens beautiful poem describing reason of avoiding media last night

Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan, who was admitted to Mumbai's Lilavati Hospital for a routine check up on Friday was seen hiding his face with a beanie while leaving the hospital.

The check up continued for few hours and Big B went home after his discharge, Ravishankar, CEO of the Lilavati Hospital, told IANS.

Meanwhile, shortly after his release, the 75-year-old actor penned a beautiful poem and described the experience during his visit to hospital. The poem also explains his view about the intrusive paparazzi and was shared by him on his official blog.

The '102 Not Out Star' further described the flashes of those media cams as hazardous at times. However, he also said that he understands that it is their profession and they need to click his photographs to continue the same.

“Yes , your ‘excellencies’ I do go to hospitals, this practice have I kept alive from birth. Was not this the place where they heard my first cry at birth? This was the place where was welcomed my existence of life, Amitabh writes in the translated version.

The actor was briefly admitted to the hospital after he complained of pain in his lower back on Friday evening. He was given injections and discharged within hours.

On the work front, the actor has collaborated with Rishi Kapoor for '102 Not Out' decades after their last joined project 'Ajooba'.

While Amitabh will be seen portraying the character of a 102-year-old Dattaraya Vakharia, Rishi Kapoor will essay the character of his 72 year-old son Babu.

Going by the first poster of the film, Amitabh looks like a fun loving and happy-go-lucky person while Rishi Kapoor's look is giving us a feel of seriousness.

Helmed by Umesh Shukla the comedy-drama dropped its teaser on Thursday and will hit the theatres on May 4, 2018.

Post that, he will be seen in Vijay Krishna Acharya directorial Thugs Of Hindostan. Also starring Aamir Khan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Shaikh in key roles, the action-adventure film will release on November 7.
