Amitabh Bachchan is truly a workaholic. Even after suffering serious health issues due to which he was admitted to the hospital the actor is pulling 18-hour shifts at work thanks to his countless work commitment both at TV and film industry. In a recent blog post, Big B has mentioned that he is doing 18-hour shifts at work.

In the post, he mentioned that owing to the backlog that piled up when he was in the hospital, he shot three episodes of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the quiz show he hosts, in one day. "Yes, sir, I work. I work every day. I worked yesterday, it lasted 18 hours. It gave me reassurance, love and blessings," read his blog post. Big B has also been inspiring fans to find joy in work. Recently, he posted a motivational quote with a photograph that shows him on the KBC set. "There is no work without work," went the caption of the picture

Owing to health issues, Big B was forced to cancel his trip to the 25th Kolkata International Film Festival. The veteran actor was scheduled to inaugurate the festival along with Shah Rukh Khan, where he has been a guest for the past six years, and for which he had already penned his speech. Sharing picture of being bed-ridden Amitabh has earlier said he is healing his "cracks and breaks" .

The 77-year-old actor posted on his blog a picture of him watching a soccer match, writing he was "lying around" in his spare time, "skipping time to go by in rapid form". "And reminiscing the work front by the day after when there shall be the chair and the computer ji and the audience (referring his show 'KBC').

His post was met with a heart-warming response from his fans and followers. "Please take care and get well soon," one wrote, while another posted: "This must be hard but the positive side of it is you are relaxing". "Lovely picture of your's. Happy to see you taking rest. Enjoy games, enjoy music. Whatever you like. Sometimes a break is a welcome change. Take care of yourself," said one used. "Just stay put please, till advised otherwise...you are very precious to us," another said.

 

In between work, Amitabh also entertains his followers with throwback pictures of his children Abhishek and Sweta.
