News of Amitabh Bachchan getting admitted to Nanavati hospital for liver ailment has flooded social media triggering fans and followers flocking his Mumbai house praying for his speedy recovery.
However Amitabh has been released from the hospital and has resumed work now.
Big B addressed the news of his ill health and hospital check-up on his blog today. Sharing about the flooding of wishes for his speedy recovery and followers coming over to known about his health conditions, Amitabh wrote, “Prayers concern and the love of them that stand by you, are elements of immense construct .. they believe so you believe .. they present folded appeal, and the reciprocation be of equal strength .. they are real .. they are constant .. they are the energy often questioned ..”
Big B also thanked his fans for the love and concern they poured on social media for him. Many of his fans had posted messages to wish Amitabh Bachchan a speedy recovery.
The 77-year-old legendary actor that requested people not to commercialize someone’s health conditions. The megastar also mentioned that health related issues are someone’s confidential right and should not be exploited for commercial purposes.
Big B wrote, “Do NOT break the CODE of professional documentation.. Ailments and medical conditions are a confidential individual right .. its exploitation, and its attempted commerce are a social illegality .. respect and give required understanding to this .. all is not in the world of sale..” Thanking his fans for the love, Amitabh Bachchan wrote, “My love .. and my gratitude for all .. for all that consider care, that consider concern and consider the prayer for me.”
Bachchan was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. Initial reports in Mumbai said Bachchan was hospitalised due to liver issues but there was no clarity on that.
Bachchan on Thursday greeted his fans on the occasion of 'Karwa Chauth' festival. He celebrated his 77th birthday on October 11 with his family and close friends. Reports also suggest that the Bachchan family has been visiting the actor frequently and he has been kept in a special room equivalent to ICU. However, no Bollywood celebs have come to visit him as most of them are not aware of the news.
For the uninitiated, Bachchan's liver lost 75 per cent of its functioning after he contracted Hepatitis B virus while undergoing treatment for his accident at the sets of Coolie in 1982.
