Megastar Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming political crime thriller ‘Sarkar 3’ has been postponed for release.
The movie which was initially slated to release on April 7, will now be released on May 12.
The announcement was made by the distributors Eros International on micro-blogging site Twitter.
As per their tweet, it was a mutual decision between director Ram Gopal Varma and producers, and the reason behind the postponement is said to be the delay in production work.
“We, at Eros along with Mr.Bachchan, RGV and Wave took a mutual decision to postpone the release of Sarkar 3 to 12th May 2017 due to delay in post production work,” Eros tweeted.
Interestingly, this is the second time 'Sarkar 3' has been postponed. Earlier the movie was slated to release on March 17, however, it was later pushed to April.
