Amitabh Bachchan to sing National Anthem before India-Pakistan match

The India-Pakistan World Twenty20 cricket match will take place at the Eden Gardens on March 19. To make things more interesting Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan will be singing the National Anthem before the start of the clash.

Big B confirmed the news when he retweeted a post from his official Twitter handle. Sources in the Cricket Association of Bengal say this was its president Sourav Ganguly’s effort.

“The president was involved and the plan was on for a long time,” CAB sources said.

Also, from the Pakistani side, classical singer Shafaqat Amanat Ali will be singing the Pakistani National Anthem.
