Anand Rai clears air about Kangana Ranaut's Tanu Weds Manu 3

Director Aanand L Rai has rubbished reports of a third movie in the "Tanu Weds Manu" franchise. There were reports that Rai and Kangana Ranaut were reuniting for a third movie but the director today dismissed it.

"TWM 3 is definately not happening. I do have something else in the pipeline with Dhanush and will start work on it only post filming my current movie. Dont know who is spreading the rumours," Rai said in a statement.

Rai and Ranauts first collaboration Tanu Weds Manu was released in in 2011 and after its success they got back together for the second part in 2015, which was again a hit though there were reports of a rift between the actor and the director.

Currently, Kangana Ranaut is busy with her upcoming movie Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhans, which happens to be a biopic on Rani Lakshmi Bai. On the other hand, Anand L Rai is working on his next directorial with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif
