Fans have been eagerly waiting to see Anil Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor together on the silver screen. It seems their wish as finally come true as the father-daughter duo is all set collaborate for ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga’.
The upcoming movie which marks the directorial debut of Shelly Chopra Dhar will also feature Rajkummar Rao and Juhi Chawla in key roles. The family drama with its stellar star cast has managed to build up the curiosity factor among the audience.
Anil Kapoor took to social media to announce the release date of the much-awaited movie. The flick which is co-produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Ramkumar Hirani will hit the silver screens on October 12.
The ‘Fanney Khan’ star mentioned how thrilled he is to work with Juhi Chawla and Sonam Kapoor. He said, ‘’ It's a moment of nostalgia & of firsts!’’
Sonam also seemed excited to work with her father for the very first time.
Anil had a fun banter with his lovely daughter on Twitter where he said that there was a time ‘Neerja’ star refused to work with her.
Interestingly, 'Ek Ladki Ko Dekha To Aisa Laga' is a blockbuster song from Anil Kapoor's hit movie '1942: A Love Story'. The song is still afresh in the minds of the movie lovers.Â
