Anupam Kher is one of the finest talents we have in Bollywood. The Saaransh actor has given power-packed performances in more than 500 films in different languages.

The veteran actor has been nominated in the category of Best Supporting Actor British Academy Television Awards 2018 for his role in the show The Boy with the Topknot.

The talented actor will compete with Adrian Dunbar (Line Of Duty), Jimmi Simpson (USS Callister, black mirror episode) and Brian F O’Bryne (Little Boy Blue) to win the coveted trophy.

The official Twitter handle of BAFTA shared the list of nominees on Wednesday.

Anupam Kher express his gratitude and happiness on securing the nomination on Twitter.  He wrote "Thank you @BAFTA for the nomination. I feel honoured and humbled. 'The Boy With The Topknot’’.

Several Bollywood stars congratulated the Special 26 actor for the BAFTA nomination.

Priyanka Chopra, who is currently busy with the shooting of her television show Quantico, also wished Anupam Kher.

Talking about The Boy with the Topknot, the BBC Two show follows the story of a boy who grows up in Wolverhampton to Punjabi parents. The critically acclaimed show also stars Deepti Naval and Sacha Dhawan.
