Happy Birthday Anushka Sharma: Jagat Janani, tujhme rab dikhta hai!

The modern day girl of B-town Anushka Sharma, who has taken the industry by storm in recent years, is celebrating her 28th birthday today. Anushka Sharma made her grand debut into Bollywood with ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ opposite none other than ‘king of romance’ Shah Rukh Khan in 2008.

Ever since she made her debut there has been no looking back as the actress is dominating every genre of acting with her power-packed performances in various avatars. Anushka, known as the ‘Livewire’ Of Bollywood, has created a niche for herself in a very short span of time.

Starting as a professional model, the PK actress went on to capture the beautiful glamour world. Known for her roles of modern-day girl, Anushka was applauded for ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ in 2010.

Anushka bagged her Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ where she  played the role of a documentary filmmaker in the movie.

Aamir Khan’s ‘PK’ remains one of the most successful movies of actress’s career. The actress also braved into production with ‘NH 10’ which got rave reviews from critics. Anushka stands in the que of a very few actresses who have been able to make a mark as the female lead in the industry.

Apart from her skills, the actress often hogs the limelight for her relationship with Indian Test Captain Virat Kohli.

The brave Anushka, never really shied away from making a public appearance with her real life hero. Her upcoming ventures include mega release 'Sultan' with Salman Khan.
