Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif are among the leading ladies of the B-town, who are garnering many hearts and love from a wide fan base across the globe. Having shared the silver space before with Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the duo is back with yet another project together. With only a day to go for the release of their upcoming Aanand L Rai film Zero, both the stars are showing every signs of becoming the next BFFs of the showbiz world.
Anushka, on Thursday, took to her Instagram handle to share a picture of the new BFFs. In the picture, The Zero stars can be seen hugging each other. While Anushka can be spotted wearing a blue-bishop-sleeved shirt and a pair of denims, matching it up with red stilettos, Katrina looks beautiful in a white maxi dress.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Thugs Of Hindostan actor also shared a ‘little Christmas cheer’ picture of her and Anushka.
Zero is one of the most awaited release this December, which stars an interesting cast - Shah Rukh, Anushka and Katrina. Helmed by Aanand L Rai, the romantic drama film will be released this Friday and is touted to be a big Christmas time entertainment.
In a unique promotional activity of the film, the characters were introduced each with a poster, apart from the teasers, trailer and songs. Now, the film is all set to unveil the various facades of Shah Rukh Khan who plays the mischevious and vertically challenged Bauua and Anushka Sharma as the wheelchair-bound Aafia. Katrina Kaif also makes a stunning appearance as the glamorous superstar Babita Kumari. Challenging the actors to play characters like never before, Aanand L Rai presents a strong cast.
The film revolves around the life of Bauua, a man from Meerut, and how the two women he meets in his life’s journey help him to find true love and his life’s purpose.
Recently, to the surprise of the viewers, the makers released a poster featuring Bauua sitting with a chimpanzee. However, nothing about the same has been disclosed yet.
Apart from the intriguing characters, Zero attempts to celebrate life and sends out a message to embrace one's incompleteness, making it a must watch for families this Christmas. The Anand L Rai directorial is jointly produced by Gauri Khan’s Red Chillies Entertainment and Colour Yellow Productions.
