Even before a year of their marraige, the media canot stop speculating when the American pop icon and our 'desi girl' will enter a new phase in their life with a child.
Sorry, Nickyanka fans—looks like there won’t be a Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas baby anytime soon. According to an Entertainment Tonight source, a baby is not a major concern for Priyanka and Nick right now. “Nick and Priyanka want kids, but right now it’s not a priority,” the source said. “Both are extremely busy, and with the Jonas Brothers reuniting and being a massive success, the couple is conscious [of] how much time the tour takes up.”
Nick is getting ready to go on the road with his brothers (Kevin and Joe, duh) for their Happiness Begins tour, which starts on August 7. As for Priyanka, she’s currently filming a movie called Gangubai and is set to star in two others.
“Nick and Priyanka haven’t been putting pressure on having kids...They are enjoying married life, traveling, and working. The couple is okay with when it happens, it happens, and it will be a blessing,” the source added. Taking clue from this statement and Priyanka and Nick's interviews we can safelt assume that even if this is not the best time for a Nickyanka baby, a child doesn’t seem totally out of the question for 2020.
Both Priyanka and Nick have expressed that they want to be parents someday, so when they’re ready, they’re probably going to make great parents! “I definitely want to be a father someday,” Nick said in an interview back in December. “I have seen a lot of life at an early age and I hope to be able to share that with a kid of my own someday.” Priyanka echoed a similar sentiment in her July InStyle cover interview. “I want my existence to have meant something,” she said. ”I want my kids to turn around and be like, ‘Yeah, that was my mom.’”
Meanwhile, Priyanka's Cannes debut sparked pregnancy rumours after many followers noticed a tiny bump in the Roberto Cavalli gown she sported. The rumours were further fuled when American actress and good friend Octavia Spencer left a sweet comment as she wrote, ‘Stunning Mamacita’. But, unlike what fans thought the word Mamacita is slang for hot woman in a Spanish.
