Actor Ranveer Singh created a buzz in the town after he was roped in to play renowned cricketer Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan's directorial '83.
While Singh was elated to be a part of the project, not many are aware of the fact, that Ranveer's best buddy Arjun Kapoor was also in talks with Khan to essay the role of the former cricketer.
Indeed, Arjun missed out a big chance after the Padmavati actor was finalised for the movie which chronicles the story of Indian team's first-ever World Cup win.
While there are reports that Kapoor is disappointed with the outcome, the actor asserted that is unfair to speak about it now.
"I don't think it's a question to answer because primarily it is not something I am doing. There are too many facets and factors when people are affiliated and names are put to films, a lot of misunderstanding happens. It's not the correct place and time."

The actor said it would be unfair on his part to speak and trivialise the film.
"If and when I do feel like speaking about other people's films, I would. But I think it is unfair to the legends who are involved in the film, for me or for us to trivialise the film.
"This is not my film, it's a film made for India. It is a very important film for the country. I don't want to trivialise it by talking about the personal aspect of it. That is not necessary," he said.
On the work front, Arjun Kapoor is working on Namastey Canada opposite Parineeti Chopra.
The movie is said to be the sequel of Akshay Kumar starrer Namastey London and will be helmed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah..
Namastey Canada is slated to release in December 2018.
