The outbreak of Coronavirus has taken the world by shock. As more and more cases of death are being reported government in every country is taking preventive measures to guard their nationals from contracting the disease. Amidst all the furore about the disease and its genesis, how to keep yourself safe from it, Bollywood actor Arshad Warsi shared a meme on Twitter that his followers found to be extremely ‘distasteful’ and ‘sexist’.

Arshad Warsi tweeted a meme on Coronavirus outbreak but the joke fell flat on its face and netizens took turn to slam the actor for being ‘insensitive’. The meme that is designed with a few scenes from his film, Munna Bhai MBBS shows his character Circuit beating up a Chinese tourist and bringing his body to hospital. The meme implied, one must beat up Chinese to prevent Coronavirus from spreading. He shared the meme along with the caption, ''My friend just sent me this very valuable info''.

''This is racist actually! Everywhere around people are putting notices to not let the Chinese in which is very absurd,” wrote a Twitter user. “Delete immediately. We can’t be racist and support attacks on Chinese nationals. Most of north easterners will be targeted because of this stupid meme,” read another tweet.

Meanwhile, India confirmed the first case of Coronavirus in the country on Thursday. Wuhan University student returned to Kerala and was kept in the isolation ward of Thrissur Medical College. A specially-prepped Air India Boeing 747 brought back 324 Indians stranded in China's Wuhan, amid the coronavirus outbreak that has killed over 200 people today. The plane, which carried five doctors from Delhi's Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital and an Air India paramedic, landed in the national capital this morning.
