Bollywood actress Asin has all the reasons to be happy right now as she has got the best Diwali gift of her life. The diva, who has been married to Mircromax co-founder Rahul Sharma, has been blessed with a baby girl on Tuesday.
The announcement was made by the new daddy Rahul on micro-blogging site Twitter. He shared an adorable picture of Asin's baby bump and wrote, "Ecstatic to announce that Asin & I have been blessed with an Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love & wishes."

Rahul even released a statement of the same, saying, "We are ecstatic to announce the arrival of our angelic baby girl earlier today. The last nine months have been most special and exciting for the both of us and we would like to thank all our wellwishers and everyone who has been part of our journey for all their love and support."

On the other hand, new mommy Asin to shared the same picture on her Instagram account and wrote, "Ecstatic to announce the arrival of our Angelic Baby Girl earlier today. Thank you for all your love and wishes. She is the best birthday present I could ever ask for".
Interestingly, this happens to be Rahul and Asin's first child. The couple tied the knot last year on January 19 in a Christian wedding ceremony followed by Hindu rituals near Delhi.
Asin's "Khiladi 786" co-star Akshay Kumar served as Rahul's bestman at the low-key ceremony.
