A day after former actor and politician Jaya Prada compared SP leader Azam Khan with Sulatan Alauddin Khilji's character in Padmaavat, the former Uttar Pradesh minister hit back at the actress.
Trouble found the Samajwadi Party leader on Sunday as he allegedly called Jaya Prada a ‘naachne gaane waali’. Taking a jibe at his former party colleague Azam Khan said, when would he have time for politics if he responds to 'naachne gaane waali'.
A video of Khan, making the statement is currently doing rounds on social networking sites.
In the 29-second-long video, surfaced on Twitter, Khan can be seen addressing a gathering surrounded by supporters and started with saying, "Padmaavat bani, suna hai Khilji ka role bahut bura hai. Suna hai Khilji ke aane ke pehle Padmavati ne duniya chhod di (Padmaavat was made. I have heard that Khilji’s role is very bad. Have heard that before Khilji arrived, Padmavati left for heavenly abode)."
"Magar abhi ek aurat ne, ek naachne waali ne Khadim ke baare mein kuch kahaa hai. Ab batao, naachne gaane waalon ke mooh lagenge toh siyasat kaise karenge (Recently a woman, a dancer, said something about this servant. Now tell me, when will I do politics if I confront these dancers and singers?)" Khan added mocking Jaya Prada, the yesteryear Bollywood actress.
Shocking Remark: Senior Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan describes Jaya Prada as "Naachne Wali", says "Naachne Wali ke main muh ni lagta"! So much for women empowerment, you see! @Uppolice can we expect some action from you? pic.twitter.com/gzbc6Y7HW9

Featuring Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shahid Kapoor in pivotal roles, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial is one of the much-anticipated movies of the year.
While Deepika Pdukone is seen playing the character of queen Padmavati, Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh have been seen playing Maharawal Ratan Singh and Sultan Alauddin Khilji respectively.
