Tiger Shroff's recent release Baaghi 2 has got the tinselvile buzzing since its inception. The movie, which also features Disha Patani in the lead, had hit the theatres on March 30 and has opened to a commendable opening.
Baaghi 2 has received rave reviews from the audience and the positive response is visible in the box office collections too as the movie has got a monstrous start on its day of release.
The movie has set the box office on fire and had become the highest opener of 2018 with a mind-boggling collection of Rs 25.10 crore.
Notably, Baaghi 2 has surpassed the first day collections of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmaavat.
Bollywood trade analyst Taran Adarsh took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the box office collections of Baaghi 2 in a series of tweets.
He wrote, "#Baaghi2 sets the BO on ... Takes a FANTABULOUS, EARTH SHATTERING START... Emerges the BIGGEST OPENER of 2018 , surpassing Previews + Day 1 biz of #Padmaavat... Fri ₹ 25.10 cr. India biz... The numbers are an EYE-OPENER!"
According to the reports, Baaghi 2 witnessed impressive occupancy in the morning shows which improved by the evening.
Notably, Baaghi 2 has been one of much awaited movies of the year and the hype created around the movie has been one of the major reasons for its 'zabardast' star.
Besides, the stunning off and on screen chemistry between the lead pair Tiger and Disha also attracted the audience to theatres.
It is reported that Baaghi 2 is likely to keep the momentum in the opening weekend as there isn't any big competition for the movie as of now and the movie will witness a long weekend this time.
Helmed by Ahmed Khan, Baaghi 2 also stars Prateik Babbar, Randeep Hooda and Manoj Bajpayee in key roles.
