Tiger Shroff-Disha Patani starrer Baaghi 2 has opened with a massive response, shattering all the box office records. The action thriller which hit the silver screens on March 30 has managed to woo the audience, and it is already reflecting in its box office.
The Ahmed Khan directorial minted Rs 25.10 crore on the very first day, beating the opening collection of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Padmavaat. The Deepika Padukone starrer had collected Rs 19 crore on the day of its release.
The flick which received a thunderous start has maintained the momentum and earned Rs 20.40 crore on the second day. The masala entertainer is now looking to collect Rs 50 crore in the opening weekend itself.
Bollywood critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the box office collection of the film on social media.
Trade pundits were expecting the movie to collect Rs 15-20 crore but Baaghi 2 surpassed all the expectations. The movie, which is the sequel to 2016 release Baaghi, has become the highest opener of Tiger’s career.
The success of Baaghi 2 has proved that audience love to watch action thrillers and they are here to stay.
