Tiger Shroff and Shraddha Kapoor's Baaghi 3 is doing exceptionally well at the box-office. On day 6 of its release, Baaghi 3 has managed to earn around Rs 7.25 - 7.50 crore, according to Box Office India. With this, the total collection of the film is Rs 82.25 - 82.50 crore nett. It is most likely that Baaghi 3 will enter to the coveted Rs 100-crore club in its second weekend.
The report further states that if the film shows a decent second Friday number, it will be the second hit of the year after Ajay Devgn starrer Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior. Also, due to coronavirus threat, there are a lot of viewers who are hesitating to come out to watch the film. As a result of this, the film has suffered in major cities.
Director Ahmed Khan is overwhelmed with the response to his latest venture Baaghi 3, which released on March 6 amid coronavirus outbreak.
"Malls are not functioning, shops are not working, considering the situation, cinema is the last thing people want to go to. In such a scenario, the film has earned Rs 17.50 to Rs 18 crore and it is overwhelming. Even if we had made Rs 7 to 8 crore then also it would have been good. It is the biggest opening of the year till now. We had expected much more but you can't fight almighty and nature," the director told PTI.
Tiger Shroff is seen reprising his role as Ronnie who fights the world to protect his brother, played by Riteish Deshmukh. The film also stars Shraddha Kapoor, who was also a part of the first film in the Baaghi franchise. The cast of the film also includes Jackie Shroff, Vijay Varma, Chunky Panday and Ankita Lokhande and Jackie Shroff in key roles.
