Prabhas' recent release 'Baahubali: The Conclusion' took over the box office with a storm, with rewriting the history all over again through its phenomenal box office collection. In fact, it's been over a month since the release of the movie, but it still continues to rule the box office.
But looks like the records of 'Baahubali 2' are in danger as Akshay Kumar's upcoming movie is all set to give a tough competition to the SS Rajamouli directorial.
We are talking about Rajinikanth starrer '2.0' which stars Akshay Kumar as the lead antagonist. The movie is the much talked about sequel of Thalaiva's 2010 release 'Robot'.
If the media reports are to be believed the movie is all set to beat the records of the Prabhas-starrer soon just on the day of release.
Wondering how?
Reportedly, while 'Baahubali 2' was released in six languages, '2.0' will be released in no less than 15 languages.
This is not all.
Unlike 9000 screens of 'Baahubali 2' across the world, Akshay's '2.0' will release on 70,000 screens in India itself.
That's really huge, isn't it?
With Akshay Kumar sharing the screen space with megastar Rajinikanth for the first time, '2.0' has indeed raised the expectations.
Helmed by Shankar, the movie also stars Amy Jackson as the female lead and has the music by maestro A R Rahman. As '2.0' is slated to release on January 25, only time will reveal if it will be able to shatter the humongous box office records created by Rajamouli's 'Baahubali 2'.
