Baazaar debut Rohan Mehra reminisces father Vinod Mehra a day before his death anniversary

Bollywood’s new entrance Rohan Mehra is sailing high with the compliments for his work in recent release Baazaar. Saif Ali Khan starrer managed to do well on box-office, and while the celebrations of the movie’s success are still in the air, Rohan is entwined in the memories of his late father actor Vinod Mehra. The actor shared a heartfelt post on Instagram (a day before Vinod Mehra’s 28th death anniversary) and said that if his father were alive then ‘he would be wearing the biggest smile one could imagine.

Rohan shared a juxtaposed picture of himself and his father on Instagram with a caption that read, “What a weekend it’s been. #Baazaar released and with it, years of hard work and struggle came to fruition. I can’t be more grateful to all of you for the incredible reaction the film has received and to the makers for giving me this once in a lifetime opportunity."

The debut actor further added that October 30 is the death anniversary of his father and revealed that he never had a chance to be in the same photo. “I do know however, that if he were here today, he would be wearing the biggest smile one could imagine. I am because you were. Sorry, I am because you ARE. Your legacy is carried forward not only by me, but by the thousands you have touched. Hearing stories from people about how you lived your life, has taught me how to live my own. Trust me, I strive to be more like you in every way, every single day. Thank you,” wrote Rohan.

Directed by Gauravv K Chawla, Baazaar has made a total collection of Rs 11.93 crore in three days. Also starring Saif Ali Khan, Radhika Apte and Chitrangda Singh, the crime drama film is facing severe competition from Ayushmann Khurrana’s comedy sailor Badhai Ho.
