Badla first look: Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu’s intense look will leave you intrigued

After sharing screen space in Aniruddha Roy Chowdhury’s National Award-winning film Pink (2016), Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu are all set to star in Sujoy Ghosh’s Badla. The duo has posted their first looks from the film and their intense look will surely leave you intrigued. 

Big B took to his Twitter account to share the first looks and wrote, ‘’Badla lena har baar sahi nahi hota, lekin maaf kar dena bhi har baar sahi nahi hota . #BadlaTrailerTomorrow @Taapsee @sujoy_g @iamsrk @gaurikhan @SunirKheterpal @PuriAkshai @_GauravVerma @RedChilliesEnt @iAmAzure.’’

Ahead of the poster release, Shah Rukh Khan tweeted out, ''Main aap se Badla lene aa raha hoon @SrBachchan saab! Taiyaar rahiyega.’’ In reply to his tweet, Big B wrote, ''Arey bhai @iamsrk, Badla lene ka time toh nikal gaya .. Ab toh sab ko Badla dene ka time hai.’’

Shah Rukh’s production house Red Chillies Entertainment is co-producing the film. There are also reports of SRK doing a special appearance in the film. He will reportedly portray the role of Taapsee Pannu’s husband in the film. Talking about the film, Sujoy Ghosh had earlier told Mumbai Mirror, ''I thought it was superlative material for AB Sir and pitched it to him. Taapsee was already on board, SRK also loved the source material and the collaboration happened seamlessly.''

Badla, it is an official remake of the Spanish thriller, Contratiempo which was released in 2016. Amitabh Bachchan will be seen playing a lawyer in the movie, investigating a young man's death. The film is slated to release on March 8, 2019.
