After showcasing some high octane action sequences in movies like Force, Dishoom, Satyameva Jayate, John Abraham is back with his cop avatar in Batla House, trailer of which has just dropped.
Batla House will bring to screen one of the most-talked-about police operations in the recent times, the encounter at L-Batla House where John Abraham is up to play the controversial ACP Sanjeev Kumar Yadav in the film.
As the tagline suggests 'The Story of India's Most Decorated/Controversial Cop', the case was about this one man who has had 70 encounters, a record 22 convictions from 30 cases and nine Gallantry Awards.
With John Abraham, one can only expect the best of action-packed movie experience in thrills and stunts nad Batla House is no different.To get into the skin of the character, Johnhas spent a lot of time with Sanjeev to under his mindset, body language, the way he sits, stands, talks, reacts to situations and what he went through.
The actor adds that even though he was tempted to take creative liberties, he refrained from doing so, in order to remain true to the character.
John further says that his film is neither pro or anti any community or political establishment. One way of looking at it is to show different perspectives to the story and the other is to make the audience think and give them a reason for a constructive argument,” he adds.
Batla House is the second collaboration of Nikkhil and John after Salaam-E-Ishq. The film also stars Mrunal Thakur, Prakash Raj and Ravi Kishan in pivotal roles. It is slated to release on 15 August, clashing with Akhay Kumar's Mission Mangal and Shradhha Kapoor's Saaho.
