Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor starrer Befikre displays the story of two youngsters Dharam Gulati (Ranveer Singh) and Shyra Gill (Vaani Kapoor) who believe in love devoid of commitments.

Dharam, a stand up comedian belonging to Delhi's Karol Bagh comes to Paris to work for his friend's 'Delhi Belly Bar'.

While in search of a bit of fun and a date he bumps into Shyra, a French girl of Indian origin.

The two go on a date and end up having a one night stand. Dharam seeks out Shyra again and they enter into a relationship.

However, they vow to keep out emotions from their relationship and don't ever want to say 'I Love You' to each other.

Shyra enters into a live in relationship with Dharam and even moves out of his house within a year.

The narrative is inter-cut with events from the present along with flashes from a year ago.

They however soon come to terms with their break-up but decide to remain friends.

However, as their individual love lives restart, their friendship is heavily tested.

The lead characters make the film highly enjoyable and Ranveer's spectacular acting deserves a lot of credit for it.

He has played the quintessential Delhi lad to perfection and displays an awesome chemistry with Vaani Kapoor.

The film displays various throwbacks to 'DDLJ' and despite her French upbringing, Vaani Kapoor is shown to be close to her Indian roots whenever she feels low.

Her craving for paranthas and looking towards her mother for advice during tough situations including decisions of her marriage clearly points to her Indianness.

The mother daughter bonding surely gives one glimpses of the Farida Jalal - Kajol's bonding in DDLJ.

The Parisian wonderland adds to the movie's glamour and cinematographer Kaname Onoyama captures the splendid monuments of the city such as Eiffel Tower, Bridge of Love Locks, etc.

Aditya Chopra's brilliant direction gives the Bollywood romance much needed buoyancy and exhilaration.

The film advocates carefree living and carefree loving while keeping your emotions in check. Exceptional locales and beautiful music are some other highlights of the movie apart from majestic acting.
