Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif starrer Bharat is struggling to touch the Rs. 200 crore mark. The film, which hit the screens on June 5, has made Rs. 182 crore at the box office in 10 days. According to a report in Box Office India, the film collected another Rs 3.75 crore on its second Friday.
However, Ali Abbas Zafar directorial had a good start at the ticket counters. The film went on to earn Rs. 42.30 crore on its opening day and dethroned Sooraj Barjatya's Prem Ratan Dhan Payo (Rs 40.35 crore) to become the biggest opener of Salman's career. With Bharat, Salman Khan becomes the only actor to have the highest number of films in the coveted Rs 100-crore club. Out of the 14 films that have achieved this feat, three films have crossed the Rs 300-crore mark, while two films have whizzed past the Rs 200-crore milestone.

After the film crossed the Rs 150 crore mark, Salman thanked everyone who watched his film. “I am very happy with the film doing really really well. Everyone’s work is being appreciated. I have not done these many interviews to promote the film that I am doing now. But it’s okay because all those people who have watched the film and liked it, this is to say a big thank you to them. People, who have gone to watch the film, are doing a good job by talking good about the film and encouraging others to watch it. But if people haven’t watched the film and they are not taking these people seriously, then I, myself, am going to say that go and watch it. It’s a good film.â€
